Bleach Blondies

 At the beginning of my blog, there were two owners. There was myself, and a dear friend of mine; her name is Cathie. I couldn’t bring myself to delete these posts because they are a part of what is now “Ribbons and Pearls”.

                                           
 Hello Fellow People!
Today I decided that since this is a fashion AND food blog I thought that I would post a recipe of a dessert that I absolutely love. So here it is!

Bleach blondies recipe

1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar

1/2 cup butter,melted

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract ( i personally like to add an extra tsp)

1-1/2 cups all purpose flour 

1/2 teaspoon baking powder 

1/2 teaspoon salt 

1 cup or until desired amount of semisweet chocolate

Directions:

In a large bowl combine the brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla 

Just until blended. 

In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and salt

Add dry mixture to brown sugar mixture

Then add in the chocolate chips

Spread into a greased 13 in x 19 in baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 ,minutes 

Cool on iron rack, cut into bars

Yields: 3 dozen
