Whimsical Weekends ~ When in Rome + Outfit of the Night

Hey Lovelies!

It's been a while since I've posted, because I was on vacation in Europe with my family! I had an amazing time and so many memories were made and over 3,000 pictures were taken. But I'm happy to be back to the south. :)

I wanted you guys to experience my first night on vacation with me because it is my most favorite day of vacation. It's kind of like a breath of fresh air and all of the stresses of life are gone. Its a blissful feeling.

The first night in Rome my family and I headed to the Trevi Fountain. Now, this is my third trip to Rome and my third time seeing the Trevi Fountain and still every time the beauty of the fountain still  take my breath away.

In Italy, I love the fact that not everybody is driving cars. There are many people who walk and bike and drive scooters. I saw this pretty red one and I had to take a picture of it.

No picture can capture the beauty of the Trevi Fountain.

So this is as good as it gets the day I arrive in Europe. Tired I may be I always dress up. It's so much fun!

Dress: (similar)
Bag: Vintage "Brighton" (very similar)
Watch: MK

Shoes: Nine West (not available)

Necklace: Tiffany and Co.

After taking pictures and walking around the Trevi Fountain we decided it was time for some delicious ITALIAN FOOD! Italian food is my all time favorite. In Europe there are many yummy cafes all along the streets.

Bread is my favorite food and freshly baked focaccia bread dipped in local olive oil from Tuscany is heaven on Earth.

After the first course of different kinds of pastas, its time to eat the main course. This plate was called "manzo con mele e cannella" which translates to "beef with apple and cinnamon". The beef was so tender and it came with apples baked in cinnamon (kind of apple pie with dinner yummy!) and freshly prepared applesauce (not that store bought stuff) and arugula and tomato salad.

I hope to share some more of my vacation with y'all more in the near future. Let me know by sending me an email if you liked coming along with me on my trip.

Stay tuned

XOXO, Kira
