I don't know whether it was the super tough yoga class Saturday morning or the delicious ice cream Sunday night, but this weekend I was way super happy. I can finally feel the "funk" cloud leaving my shoulders as I prepare for the next adventure in my life. For the past couple of months, I've just been down, not sad, but not feeling like me.

Normally during the day I just stay in my Soffe shorts and giant t-shirts all day and work on school or who knows what. Recently, I have been getting myself up in the mornings, doing my makeup and hair, putting on an adorable outfit and going about my day with a spring in my step.

This past weekend I ran a few errands with my daddy: room decor errands, returning a shower head that didn't work and taking a quick run Downtown, Charleston to Anthropologie for inspiration. Wearing long sleeves in the middle of summer was a little crazy (it's 97 degrees!!!!), but I felt that this airy chambray was necessary to complete this simple look. I saw these shorts on the rack and the J. Crew by Rockefeller Center in NYC earlier in the summer and I knew that I had to have them. They've been worn on repeat.

Is my hair getting browner???

I mean really, what's a trip downtown without stopping at J. Crew? The sale rack was amazing, and the new arrivals complete my heart. Clearly, I had way too much fun. Can you take a guess of what I got?
