Every springtime I find my love for music reborn. While it may sound cliché, the turn of the season has me craving clarity and order in my life. Around this time of year the bitter grip of winter is something of the past but the freedom of summer is still of the future. Spring is a beautiful season of lingo. Just like the first blooms of the daffodils in my front yard or the first beach trip of the season, the music that I have curated in my first playlist reflects my current feelings of apprehension, independence and clarity. This season has me craving strong bases and instrumentals reflecting the blissful anticipation that I feel with the oncoming of a hot summer wearing string bikinis and sipping lemonade following the season of AP exams and annotating Hemingway's novels.
